Incorrect address in application or incorrect address in the National Population Register

You can appeal if...

... your application was rejected because you hadn’t notified the National Population Register that you had moved. Your move must be recorded in the National Population Register before we can process your appeal.

This is what you must do:

  • Complete the appeal form below.
  • You don’t need to document the information
  • Send the appeal in the post to your local municipality’s postal address. You can find the address on the decision letter you received.

You application can be reviewed when all members of your household are registered as living there. 

This is what you must do:

  • Notify the National Population Register that you have moved
  • Inform your municipality once the move has been registered. You can find the address in the decision letter you received. Remember to include your name and your reference number or national identity number.
  • If you want to apply for housing allowance for next month, you must immediately inform the municipality or submit a new application electronically.

You can appeal if...

... you applied for housing allowance for a house where you weren’t living on the 1st of the month. In that case you can apply for housing allowance for the home where you were actually living.

  • Send your appeal and new application in paper to the municipality’s postal address. You can find the address on the decision letter you received.
