Incorrect application address or address information
If you believe that an incorrect address was used in the assessment of your housing allowance application, you may appeal the decision.
You can appeal online
Appealing online makes the process easier and enables us to process your appeal more quickly.
You can appeal if your application was rejected because you hadn’t notified the National Population Register that you had moved. Your move must be recorded in the National Population Register before we can process your appeal.
How to appeal:
- Complete the appeal form below.
- You don’t need to document the information
- Send the appeal in the post to your local municipality’s postal address. You can find the address on the decision letter you received.
You application can be reviewed when all members of your household are registered as living there.
How to appeal:
- Notify the National Population Register that you have moved
- Inform your municipality once the move has been registered. You can find the address in the decision letter you received. Remember to include your name and your reference number or national identity number.
- If you want to apply for housing allowance for next month, you must immediately inform the municipality or submit a new application electronically.
You can appeal if you applied for housing allowance for a house where you weren’t living on the 1st of the month. In that case you can apply for housing allowance for the home where you were actually living.

You can appeal if your application was rejected because you moved, and you forgot to reapply for your new home.
